The Z-DSP is a stereo DSP processor, with 24-bit sampling, 15khz of bandwidth, voltage controlled parameters, and has the ability to be programmed with a powerful assembly language – all in a Eurorack format. The Z-DSP gives you all the tools you need to control and manipulate digital effects to explore the new sonic spectrum DSP is bringing to the modular synth, including; VC digital parameters, VC Mix/Dry, manual and sequential program switching and a pair of VC Feedback-loop path with exposed patch points that let you insert the rest of your modular inside the DSP process.
The Z-DSP has two totally independent audio channels with separate input level controls and feedback loops that you can break up.

“Time Fabric” is an effect card for TipTop's Z-DSP which is specialized in pitch shifting FX. The algorithm used resembles these of early pitch shifters and harmonizers from the late 1970ies. There are eight effects like dual or microtonal pitch shifters, with common or individual delay time control, pitch shifters with quantized intervals and some with different routing of the delay and the shifter.

MIXZ is a low cost analog multi-channel mixing module for mixing audio, CV and gate signals with an excellent linear response and low noise. balancing a clear visual layout and multiple mixers in a small footprint makes the MIXZ easy to use in a variety of configurations within the modular synth. Its high quality analog mixing circuitry makes for a great sounding mixer with plenty of headroom, providing a smooth organic merge of dynamics, and excellent separation of mixing sections and channels. MIXZ has three sections:
Mixer A – a low noise 4 channel mixer with independent gain control per channel
Mixer B – a low noise 4 channel mixer with master gain control
Bus mix – a multi channel mixer that mixes signals from modules utilizing the tiptop bus mix
Mixer A and B can be configured as either two independent 4 channel mixers or as a single 8 channel mixer. If the output of mixer a is not in use, then mixer A will be routed internally to mixer B forming the 8 channel mixer.
TipTop bus mix is a new method we have developed to mix audio signals through the eurorack power bus board without patch cables, a little bit of magic ahh? Although this technique doesn't stand for a low noise mix, we found it to be useful for some applications including the mixing of our drum modules, which all have a bus-mix enabled output. the result is that all your drum modules are always available and mixed on the master out of the MIXZ with a flip of a switch, saving you the time and cables to repatch sounds again and again, while keeping the channels of MIXZ’s mixer A or B free to bring other signals into the mix. combining the bus mix with mixer a and b, the MIXZ can sum dozens of channels in only 10HP.

Very snappy ADSR type envelope generator with a CV proccessor that can scale the envelope signal, add an offset to it, mirrot and invert it. All four time and level parameters can be voltage controlled and the attack pameter´s characteristic is switchable.
The attack, decay and release potantiometers are scaled in a special way: the first 50% of the knob´s rotation are used for finest adjustment of very short envelope times from miliseconds to one second. This is useful to create snappy envelopes with minimum times without popping or clicking sounds. The rest of the knob´s rotation controls times from one second up to the minute range.
Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release can be controlled with voltages from 0V to 5V. The ATK switch selects between an exponential and a logarithmic attack curve. The Shoot button allows you to fire the envelope manually.
The voltage processor at the output has several functions. The Attenuverter attenuates and/or inverts the output voltage. The voltage controllable Deviator adds a static positive or negative offset voltage to the envelope. By combining those
ameters you can mirror the envelope or clip it. A bicolor LED indicates whether the envelope is in negative or positive voltage range.

The Z2040 is a discrete clone of the Prophet 5`s low pass filter with come additonal features like voltage controlled gain and resonance. The gain parameter allows for overdriving the filter.
Voltage controlled, 24dB/octave steep, 4-pole lowpass filter based on the original US patent of the SSM2040 filter chip from Sequential Circuits' Prophet 5 Rev2.
FM is the cutoff modulation parameter with a voltage controllable modulation depth (VC-FM)
The gain is adjustable and until the 1h position (marked with “0dB”) the filter is pretty smooth but above that the sound gets more and more overdriven. A VCA pre-filter makes the gain voltage controllable; alternatively you can route the VCA post-filter with a jumper.

The Z3000 is an innovative, intelligent all-analog Voltage Controlled Oscilaltor with an integrated tuner, linear and exponential FM, two sync methods and waveshaping on the sine wave. A proven and tested classic!
VCO with arithmetic processor that analyzes the frequency once per second.The display shows the current frequency – depending on the chosen mode the VCO frequency is shown as frequency in Hertz, note value or octave range. The external audio input offers the ability to use the arithmetic processor for tuning other VCOs.
Of course, the Z3000 has manual and voltage controlled pulse width modulation and the waveforms sine, triangle, pulse and sawtooth.
Besides the hard sync input for synching the VCO using square or sawtooth waves there is an additional Hard Sync Modulation input (HSM). This will not only accept any waveform but any audio signal which will modulate and distort the waveforms of the synchronised Z3000.
Additionaly there are 3 FM inputs, two exponential and a linear one. The CV inputs FM2 and Linear FM share a common attenuator. Frequency range of the Z3000 is 0.7Hz – 30kHz.
The version 2 is now built with SMD components and thus it´s PCB is very flat (pcb parallel to the faceplate). By the use of modern transistors the tracking got much more exact. The sawtooth now sounds a bit better and there´s a new feature: VC waveshaping on the sine and triangle wave! It blends from “trashy sawtooth” to sine/triangle.

Super interesting trigger sequncer techno monster. Sort of the control room for all your drums and all trigger issues with a vast number of loopable patterns with different lengths, loopable pattern groups, mute functions, individual shuffle per track (!) … Sequence length up to 512 steps, 24ppq resolution in Zoom view for detailed editing, trigger delay per step, 8th or 16th note swing, gate length up to 64 steps and so much more.
The idea of having several views is brilliant. The vertical view is pretty much the main view and is used to select columns (group, preset, steps, channel, mute etc) and for quick eighth-note programming.
The other views display the sequence horizontally and are used for more detailed programming:
The 8×8 view displays all 8th notes for each of the eight channels (= tracks) and allows for simultaneous programming of eight channels. 4×16 shows four sequeces at a time, each with a resolution of 16th notes. In the same manner 2×32 shows two chennels in a 32th note resoultion and 1×64 shows all 64 steps of one channel. With the up/down buttons you can proceed to the other channels in order to edit them.
The unit's possibilities are very vast and too many to describe them here, hece we refer to the 64-page strong user manual. Let is be said that you can mute channels, to copy, paste and clear channels and sequences.
An important possibility is to create groups which can be 64 steps long (1 group has 8 presets, each consisting of eight channels, each of the channels can have eight steps). Presets and groups can be looped in trder to create more complex patterns.
The Circadian Rhythm understands TipTop's own SyncBus which carries clock, reset and preset data and is used for synchronize multiple TipTop Syncbus compatible devices like the Trigger Riot. Connect it with the optionally available SyncBus-Cable.
