The ADSR-VC2 is a dual envelope generator with two identical, independent ADSR units which can be both triggered simultaneously by one single trigger due to a normalized jack.

All parameters (attack, decay, sustain release and the output level) can be voltage controlled.

Besides short A,D and R times a switchabel characteristic of the attack delivers both: punchy and crisp envelopes, as well as long envelope times.

Per envelope generator:

– attack time: 0.1ms–10s
– decay time: 0.5ms-20s
– sustain level: 0-8V
– release time: 0.5ms-20s
– characteristic of the attack changeable between logarithmic and exponential
– Normal (0 – 8V) and inverted output (-8 – 0V)
– ADSR parameters and envelope output level voltage controllable
– Gate/Trig reacts on a threshold of 2V or higher

Gate 2 In is pre-patched to Gate 1 In.

The Audio Processor AP-1 is an indispensable module for everybody who wants to process external audio signals in modular systems.

The AP-1 provides you with three sections: Pre-amp, envelope follower and compressor

For a quick visual overwiev there is an overload- LED, a further one for the 48V phantom power and a chain of LEDs for displaying the intensity of the compressor.

You can switch between microphone and instrument input or you override the pre-amp by using the COMP-IN input (switching socket).

Pre-amp:
A rotary switch in 10dB-steps (6 – 66dB) select the coarse pre-amplification, the fine control from -5dB to 5dB is done with the GAIN TRIM control.

Microphones can be amplified from 1dB to 71dB, the instrument input from -5dB to 64dB.

The ATT-4 is a fourfold attenuator with additional offset-switches.
Its primary task is the attenuation of modulations
in case modulation inputs don’t have their own attenuators.

So very gentle, discrete modulations are possible.

But if set to to bipolar mode audio signals can also be attenuated.

The module consists of four identical sub-units which feature besides in- and outputs a level potentiometer.

The offset- or BIAS-switch converts bi-polar signals like audio signals or modulations from LFOs
which reach from -2.5V to 2.5V (5V amplitude) in signals from 0-5V.

The BLD has all components and functions necessary for generating bass, lead and drum sounds but with focus on bass drum sounds.

The BLD contains a main sound generator (Oscillator), a noise generator and modifiers such as low pass filter, amplifier and two transient (contour) generators.

The oscillator has two manual pitch controllers (FINE, COARSE) and two inputs for controlling the pitch by external signals: FM1 (levelled, bipolar pre-patched to transient generator AR) and FM2 (calibrated to 1 Volt/octave).

Waveforms and mix between shapes is controlled manually from triangle, mix between triangle and pulse, pulse, mix between pulse and saw tooth and saw tooth.

Oscillator level is controlled manually from 0 thru nominal signal strength to saturated (curved, for more punch).

Pulse width is controlled manually and by an external signal (PWM).

LOW PASS FILTER has two audio inputs marked OSCILLATOR LEVEL and NOISE LEVEL, The CUTOFF frequency is controlled manually, transient generators AR and AHR and by CUTOFF pre-patched to FM2 CV input.

NOISE GENERATOR is connected to the low pass filter and to the amplifier (NOISE LEVEL).

The CRV-24 is a four band crossover with 24 dB/octave slope for all four bands. Crossover frequencies can be controlled manually and by attenuable CV signals. The incoming signal INPUT is splitted in four bands:
LP (low pass filter) MID1 (high/low pass) MID2 (high/low pass) HP (high pass filter).

The CRV-24 is a four band crossover with highly effective 24 dB/octave slope for all four bands; low (LP), low mid (MID1), high mid (MID2) and high (HP).

The crossover frequncies are controlled manually (LP/MID1, MID1/MID2 and MID2/HP) and by individual attenuable CV signals (LP/MID1, MID1/MID2 and MID2/HP).

All three crossover frequencies can be additionally controlled by the MID1/MID2 knob and MID1/MID CV signal (switch MID1/MID2 MASTER FREQUENCY) and also by an external signal inserted in to MASTER input.

CTG-VC, a single complex voltage controlled transient generator

The envelope generator provide control voltages that can be used for dynamic change of all voltage controlled parameters, such as; frequency, amplitude, pulse width, cutoff.

The most common use is controlling filters cutoff frequency and a voltage controlled amplifiers amplitude in order to achieve dynamic timbre- and level-changes.

All parameters such as attack time, attack hold time, decay time, sustain level, release time and output level are voltage controlled.

The CTG-VC is a complex transient generator with a lot of features, such as; two different shapes for the attack, attack hold (A-HOLD) for punchier sound than a standard attack, variable decay slope (D-SLOPE) from natural exponential to heavy logarithmic, attack-decay loop (A-D LOOP) and polarized level for outgoing transient signals which means that both outputs levels are controllable in both directions (positive and negative).

A-D LOOP switch activates, when ON, a steady state attack/decay generator and the rate is determinated by attack/decay time and attack/decay modes.

The compressor module VC-FC is the stereophonic brother of Cwejman´s VC forward compressor. It´s the first of its kind because so far no manufacturer developed a fuly voltage controlled compressor, even more not in stereo! This gives completely new and very precise control possibilities eg. in connection with sequencers. The audio quality conforms to highest studio requirements!

The FSH-1 module is a voltage controlled frequency shifter in studio quality. Unlike to other products on the market there is no bleedthrough of the internal oscillator and no audible noise!

The signals can be shifted up- and downwards; alternatively the module can be used as a high-quality ring modulator.

The carrier frequency of the oscillator can be switched into LFO mode and thus reaches from 0,01Hz to 14kHz !

Two audio signals can be connected, of which the first one´s level can be adjusted.

There´s also a coarse and fine tune control for the VCO and frequency modulation inputs.

The MMF-1 is one of Cwejman´s best developments. It is a very clean and precise multimode filter partly featuring new filter types like a dual bandpass mode with adjustable spacing of filter peaks and also other filter types.

11 filter types are available, three of which are bandpasses or notch filters with dual peaks and thus two possible resonances with two sine waves when selfoscillating!

The tricky thing is that the parameter SPACING can modulate the distance between the filter peaks with a CV. Very cool for vocal sounds! Both audio inputs have separate level controls.

Of course you can control the cutoff frequency and resonance manually and with voltages.

In general all Cwejman modules are protected against interspersions and have lots of calibration options on the back side.

The MMF-2 is a stereo multi mode filter which can operate in a true stereo mode or as two independent filters A variety of possible modifications and re-shaping of your sound material is the goal for the MMF-2; as a post production filter with mix and pre/post saturation and as a tool for experimentation with both mono and stereo audio material with all CV controllable parameters in full audio range. The module is build around three functional blocks; filter, saturation stage and mix.

FILTER

The heart of the MMF-2 are two four pole multi mode filters with six selectable outputs for the main stereo outputs; low pass, low-band pass, band pass, band-high pass, high pass and notch + bypass. Three outputs/filter are available too; low pass, band pass and high pass and which are not affected by the saturation in the post mode. The corner frequency (CUTOFF L and CUTOFF R) is individual for both filters and the MASTER CUTOFF controls both. The Q-PEAK determinates the resonance upp to self oscillation point and is controlled individually or by the LEFT Q-PEAK when activated by the switch LINK TO LEFT. Both CUTOFF and Q-PEAK can be controlled manually and by inserted signal(s) in to the CV inputs. Those CV signals can control left and right filter and/or both when control signals are inserted in to the MASTER CV inputs.

The MMF-6 is a multi mode filter with six outputs, first three from the left; “clean” low pass, band pass and high pass.

Low- band- and high pass to the right are processed by three separate (for every output) saturation circuits with two modes; soft and hard.

Additionally, the filter core has so called “symmetry” control for the resonance and cutoff frequency. It is possible to control cutoff so positive and negative going signals have different cutoff frequencies, from a subtle “edge” to very dramatical character of the audio signal (including frequency division effect).

Now it's possible to imitate the famous Moog filter (it can not replace it, of course), OTA based filters and others.

All this by modulating symmetry by one of the outputs (pre-patched to “clean” low pass output) or an external signal.

Now it is possible to mix clean and saturated audio signals in any combination.
