Each step of the sequencer can be automated across all main features and all automation saved within a total of 64 presets. This allows for recall of intricate sound sculpting and numerous animated creations. Easily build songs by simply selecting presets to play in any order. Program notes quickly using the keyboard. Utilize the Repeat and Probability functions per step for a unique and inspiring approach to gate pattern formation. Even route the LFO to modulate the Delay time.

The intuitive menu offers additional control and setup of the more complex features: Sub Semitones, ADSR envelope (linear or exponential), Sequence direction (FWD, REVERSE, PENDULUM and RANDOM), Sequence division and multiplication, LFO phase, additional Delay features, Clock settings and more.

INS and OUTS include: CV, MIDI, CLOCK, GATE and LFO and pairs brilliantly with Eurorack.

The Quad Gate Delay is a 4 channel tempo-synced rhythm generator and logic delay. There are 3 switchable time modes: milliseconds, tempo synced (unquantized), and tempo synced (quantized) with additional manual control over each mode as well as CV inputs over channels 1 & 2 (3 & 4 are fixed).

The first mode allows for up to 1 second of delay per channel. Tempo synced (unquantized) allows for up to a bar of delay based on the incoming clock. Tempo synced (quantized) mode allows for up to a bar of delay quantized to 1/16 divisions. There are 3 normalling modes. In the first mode all inputs only trigger their own channels. In the second mode the first input will trigger all channels at the same time which allows for multiple taps off of a single trigger. The third mode sends the delay output from the current channel into the next channel’s input. The mix output combines all 4 channels and sends a short pulse any time one of the outputs goes high.

The 1F is a voltage controlled switch, intended to be ‘one friend’ for your sequencer. Its design has been specially focused on working with sequences, by giving them some randomness, applying transpositions or constant variation over time. The 4R is a quad random voltage generator in 2HP. It generates two different random stepped voltages per input, each time a rising edge is sensed at TRIG1 or TRIG2. The inputs are independent so they can work at different clock speeds. As TRIG2 is normalled to TRIG1 it is also possible to get 4 random values with just one trigger. The voltage range of each pair of outputs can be set as unipolar (0V to +5V) or bipolar (-5V to +5V).

The ACL 24dB Disrete Core Ladder Filter VCF is classic transistor ladder design.
A fully discrete, low noise, low distortion audio path is used in the whole circuitry.
Some special features provides loads of possibilities as described in the text below.

The VCF ladder design consists of 4 stages, providing an buffered output for each of the 4 stages separately in order to
get a 6dB, 12dB, 18dB and 24dB/octave -sloped filter output individually.

The cutoff frequency of the VCF can be controlled manually using the knob named „CUTOFF“ and by 3 independent external control voltages, connected to the input jacks „1V/OCT“, „CV1“ and „CV2“, the latter two having attenuators.
The VCF´s resonance can be controlled manually and by an external CV.

When resonance is turned fully, up self oscillation will occur, enabling to use the VCF as a voltage controlled quadrature oscillator (a 90 degree shift occurs at every filter pole)

In the category “dual multi-mode filter with normalizations and common control of both cutoffs” ACL present a State Variable filter with 12dB slope, individual outputs, variable filter routing as well as the variable notch balance known from the Oberheim SEM, blending over from low pass over notch to high pass.

The two filters have the same layout: each has an audio input with level control. Cutoff and resonance are set both manually and with CVs; the CV inputs feature polarizers for setting modulation intensity, For filter tracking there’s an input which tracks approximately 1V/octave.
Each filter has four individual outputs for different filter types; low pass, notch, high pass and band pass. A special feature is the possiblity to crossfade the notch from low pass to high pass, creating different timbres and. A shame that this parameter is not voltage controlable.

Indeed you can use the filters separately and individually but the Dual SVF offers a number of normalizations for simultaneous control of both filters. All audio inputs and CV inputs of filter A are pre-patched to the inputs of filter B. The cutoff frequencies of both sections can be manually controlled at the same time using the Dual Cutoff potentiometer.
The signal flow is determined by two switches; the upper switch PAR/SER selects whether the filters work parallely or in series. In latter mode the lower switch determines which output of filter A is routed to the input of B, either the bandpass or the notch (which alllows for selecting low and high pass).

The Envelope x3 gives you three ADSR-envelopes in one module. This envelope is inspired by the one of the System 100m which is very strong in creating percussive sounds.

Each of the three envelopes can be triggered via their own gate inpus. The inputs are normalised, therefore all three envelopes can also be triggered at once by one common trigger input.
Each envelope generator has a normal and inverted output, the range can be switched between short and long.

The module is made of precision components, as used in measuring instruments for instance, in order to keep the parameters exact and stable for a long time.
As flashly LEDs for visualisation were omitted the power consumption of the Triple Envelope Generatois quite low.

The ACL Gate Mixer is a 4 channel Audio signal mixer, consisting two 2-in-1 mixers (1+2 ?& 3+4), whose outputs are summed together to the master output. All 4 channels can be switched ON/OFF via switches and/or gate or even CV signals.

Furthermore there is an AUX-input, which is routed unity gain (no attenuator) to the SUM. The logic of switching the signals on and off can be negated (inverted), meaning a high control signal could switch the signal on (gate=on) – or the opposite behaviour; a high control signal could switch the signal off (gate=mute).

So you can always switch the channels on and off using the switch, by just flipping the channel´s state (on or off). No disturbing clicks or glitches should be heard when switching an audio input signal on and off due to a fast “slew ramping” takes place in the circuit, controlling the amplitude of the signal when switched on and off.
Each Channel has a LED which is lighting up, when the channel is switched on.

The ACL M/S Matrix module is able to deconstruct a conventional stereo signal, consists of a left and a right channel, into its mid and side signals. The other way round it can convert a M/S stereo signal to L/R stereo.
For that reason the module has four bi-directional sockets which carry the left, right, mid and side signals and are either inputs or outputs, depending on the mode of conversion.

When you play with the individual levels of left and right, classic panning happens. Something different happens with M/S: A change of the Side signal's level will change the stereo width while changing the Mid signal's amplitude will make the center more or less present but the side signal will remain unchanged!
For instance turning up the S signal from zero to max will continuously convert a center mono signal into a wide stereo signal.
The module offers individual level control for each stereo channel which can be controlled with potentiometers and voltages

Besides the aforementioned different compression of mid and side you might as well process sterophonic reverb and change the stereo width of the reverb tail.
